Our Common Cusimanse can be found in Wanyama Village! They're quite often outside digging around finding their food! This species is native to west Africa – it lives in forests near rivers. It lives in small family groups with between 10 and 20 individuals. Being a territorial species, they use scent glands to mark their environment. This species is primarily carnivorous, eating invertebrates, reptiles and rodents, however, they do also eat fruit and berries.
