Sitatunga

General Information

Look out for our Sitatunga in Wanyama Village & Reserve. This antelope species is found in swamp forests and marshes in Central and Western Africa. It's a crepuscular species, meaning it is most active at dawn and dusk. The males are darker in colour and have long, twisted horns. Their coats are waterproof to help them stay warm when swimming.
