The Ituri Aviary showcases a collection of African rain forest birds and plants. Africa’s Ituri Forest is part of a band of rain forests that circles the globe near the equator and is home to an incredible variety of plants and animals, including more than 200 species of trees. In the Zoo’s aviary, look for colorful bird species like Congo peafowl, turacos, barbets, drongos, and starlings.
